This morning I turned on my Laptop, and was checking to see if my printer was still connected (it has been acting flaky) There in the 'Network' display, 'Other devices' was 'Living Room TV.' Thought 'Gees, MS must have fixed this, that was not there after I did everything I had to do to install ChromeCast and Chrome.' So I Clicked on 'Notifications' / 'Connect' and there was the listing 'Living Room TV,' the name I had give in setting up ChromeCast just two days ago. Sp flash tool mt6572. I clicked on it, and after the typical messages about wait till it connects, etc. within about 15 seconds there was my Laptop desktop display on my TV. AND, I was running' EDGE' NOT Chrome. Clicked on one of the videos on the web page I was watching and there was the video and the sound. Since it was a youtube video, I clicked on the full screen and wala the video was full screen on my TV.
Well, MS must have discovered this 'BUG' as I just tried to do this again and that option no longer is in the 'CONNECT' listing.
So just what happened? AND when is MS going to fix this?
