    My experience with All Star driving was the most fabulous experience ever. To be honest , I started my driving lessons with another school in Ann Arbor and had the worst experience with them. The teacher was stern and demoralizing. I switched to another teacher in the city . He turned out to be mean & self centered as well. I finally approached All Star driving school. I was set up with a teacher named Bill. He was a gem of a person. He had faith in me when I didn't have faith in myself and lifted my spirits. I learnt driving and got my license.

    This company is absolutely awful. Do not go through them. They may give you the education but it takes several phone calls and weeks to receive any proof for it. If you want to take your road test on time DO NOT take your drivers ed classes with them.

    My daughter paid $609.99 for a drivers ed course last August with All star driver education. .the class was cancelled. In November they had another class, however, January 1st they lost their license to operate in new hampshire. They also lost the instructors..class cancelled with only 4 remaining classes to go. Here it is in february and still no classes and a huge fight trying to get our money back. This place is awful..bad business, rude personnel and the owner doesn't return calls. Company sucks!

    My son had to wait extra week to finish driving portion because they could not get the car back from tire repair. Then seg 2 first class moved because not enough kids. Then at first class no instructor so janitor had to call office. Kids sent home. Then when finished, instructor told kids certificates mailed. Not mailed and I was told I would have to hunt down instructor to get certificate. Ann Arbor office very rude and inefficent. Instructors dont know westland area for driving. DONT GO HERE!!!!!

    Able to work with our sons travel hockey schedule so he didn't have to miss any games. I also now feel very comfortable with our son driving in the winter due to his knowledge of ABS brakes

    Great customer service, instructors were patient, very knowledgeable and kind. I'm a full time mom and I work odd hours so emailing was perfect with communicating with Tawny. Very helpful. She even rescheduled over email when a certain class time didn't work out, sent me a confirmation and all was set. Very happy with the whole process from segments 1 and 2 to the road testing with larry in Ann Arbor. Definitely recommend this company to assist the up coming future drivers of Michigan.. :-) 5++ stars

    I was very curious about these movies that were mentioned in a comment below. I decided to take it upon myself and sit in a few of the classes with my child. I found the movies to be relatable and I ended up sitting down with this 'Captain Drivers Ed' guy. I found out that he actually does a lot for the community and those with disabilities. I was so happy to send my kids through All Star, they learned a lot and were still sending kids to All Star. Whatever you may think about this company, you dont really know until you find out for yourself, and I have to say that im glad I did. Thanks All Star for helping my children and for proving that judging a book by its cover is still a fault in its own.

    I have never payed so much money for something so worthless (My daughter took segment 1 of driver's ed.) Class time was wasted with offensive movies that taught nothing and made fun of people with disabilities, and played silly games that didn't have anything to do with driving. The first time she was behind the wheel, she was forced to drive in very dangerous conditions and wasn't taught the basics (like how far you have to look ahead when driving.) DO NOT TAKE THIS CLASS.

    Although when my daughter did the cours we were happy. After as we began to drive with her we found out that she did not know many basic things such as checking over your shoulder when changing lanes dues to a blind spot. Other basic info was not taught seems like they checked off their list and handed out the certificate with no real concerns for the long term.

    Overall, the class went well. Our class instructor, Marty, was great at what he does, but if you had Maria as a driving instructor on the weekends, she was highly impatient and didn't help you learn from your mistakes. I plan on taking my segment two class with them in September

    Overall it was pretty good, driving instructors were good. I found that the learning was pretty repetitive (learn it in the book, watch a movie on the material, get lectured about it, then play a dysfunctional game) but it did get us to learn the stuff. Classes a little boring but overall pretty good.

    All star does exactly what it sets out to do..mixes fun with education and the results are unmistakable. Our youth learns not only how to drive well but with confidence and responsibility! My daughter enjoyed her experience with All Star and it was fun to watch her confidence and driving abilities soar. I especially love that she learned practical things like how to change a tire and what to do in case of emergencies. I would highly recommend this program to every beginner driver and parent!

    My 3 daughters all went to different driving schools in Ann Arbor. The one who went to All Star is the ONLY one who is a good driver, who is STILL accident-free and who really 'gets it' when it comes to safety and the rules of the road. THANKS ALL STAR!     Some of my friends who did not take from All Star Driver Education said their driver ed classes were boring. Not me, I took from All Star and it was the best experience ever. I loved All Star. I learned more about driving safe then all of my friends put together. I cried the last day of class because I didn't want my class to end. My parents and I recommend All Star to everyone and because of them I am going to drive safe at all time.

    I put my Daughter through Drivers Ed with All Star. The teachers and staff were very courteous and professional. My daughter had a great time in class and I felt that she gained a lot of knowledge. Just sitting in class day after day can be so boring, but All Star kept things interesting for her with newer activities and games that got her involved. I especially liked the parent night that they have. I learned a lot, too!

    these classes are so boringggg. and captin drivers ed is really lame. do people really think that the kids who are taking the class can't handle anything more then just 'hi, i'm captin drivers ed and i am overly obvious about everything, and i'm just come across as really annoying?' the only thing i liked was my instructor, steven richardson, he was alway really cool with us.

    I am 18 years old and took all star's driving course. For the most part, it was interesting and fun. However, scheduling for driving hours were very hellacious!!! It took me about 8 weeks to complete this course. Other students took about 3 and a half months to complete it. Its very frustrating!!

    This was quite possibly the worst driving school ever, I had a terrible instructor, Dennis Dewitt, who still lives with his mom and takes her out to dinner every friday night. I would learn more reading a book and teaching myself. and the whole all star thing is very corny

    It's too bad that those who gave low scores had such a bad experience. How can you possibly complete a driver's ed course in three weeks- that's a scary thought! My daughter's instructors were all great, the classroom material informative and useful, her driving experience ranged from back roads to highways. There are many, many scheduling options to choose from you just have to do it quickly or the classes get filled. She had to get a duplicate phase two card and it was sent out in the mail the day I requested it. We had a wonderful experience with this school.

    when i registered i was told that this was a 3 week program but it took over 6 weeks to complete all of my students driving. The scheduling was a nightmare. My friend took her student to Excel Driving School and they had a much better experience.

    I have been told for over 3 months that my sons certificate of completion that he needs to go to Secretary of State with was mailed. I have called Cathy..the instructor on several occcassions about this. She tells me that she would resend it. There is always some excuse..was busy..was sent back..ect. We still do not have it!!!!!
