Shaiya private server Hello I was told about a new server in game and when I downloaded the patch it didnt work, so I asked some people in game and they told me I had to creat my own codes and stuff.

REQUIREMENTS:
Server1) Minimum Operating System Windows XP Professional Service Pack 3
2) Minimum M$ SQL Server 2005 (Needs to have Mixed Mode Authentication Win NT & SQL Authentication).
3) Make a D: Virtual Partition if u don't already have one:
4) (Episode 3, Ep4 clients work but buggy).
INSTRUCTIONS:
Install Win XP SP3 and SQL Server 2005 or higher.
Copy the Shaiya Test Server to 'D:SHAIYA_SERVERSERVER'.
Note - Must use exact path or it will not work!!
Install_Server
1) Run 'Install_Server.bat'.

User: 'admin', Password: 'admin123'
2) Server Patch Config.
Go to Server Setup >> Apply to Windows Registry, exit.
Then Computer will Restart.
Server Patch Config
  1. Run 'PSM_ServerPSM_ServiceMgr.exe'.
  2. Close then re-open Server Patch Config.
  3. In Menu, Server Setup >> Service Install All.
  4. Be patient it takes a while for all Shaiya Services to register and be Paused.
  5. In Menu, Control Service >> Start All Server Service.
    If any fail to start right click on them in the Tree View and click Start.
  6. Close version checking:
    Select Logins >> Login01, right click, then Command. Enter '/vchkoff' press Enter.
    (Type '/help' command for more info on available commands).
  7. Close NProtect verification:
    Select GameGroups >> GameGroups01 >> Game, right click, then Command. Enter '/nprotectoff' press Enter.
    (Type '/help' command for more info on available commands).
  8. Note - The Server Patch Config Application is buggy!!
    I've found that it does not change the ini files correctly sometimes causing Game Server crashes.
    If it happens look through 'PSM_ClientBinConfig*.ini' files and check that all settings are correct.
    What I found to be wrong was:
    ps_login.ini, line 13, 1st Argument should be your Game Server name, not 'Game'.
    Hopefully if you have done everything correctly now your Server should be running.

Open up the game.exe client in a hex editor, use find and enter '72.55.177.194'. When it's found change it to your Login Server IP Address. Make sure all bytes are preserved (insert over), fill with null bytes. I recommend using HxD (free) or Hex Workshop.
Create shortcut with arguments added to end of Target 'start game'.

FAQ
  • I have no D: Drive
    Well make a virtual one.
  • PSM_Server_Mgr.exe: Cannot apply Server Update >> Update to all Server
    Go to Server Setup >> Apply to Windows Registry, exit and restart Computer.
  • Client does not match Error.
    PSM_Server_Mgr.exe: In Server List, expand Login, right-click on Login01, click command, enter '/vchkoff' (without quotes).
    Type '/help' for other commands.
  • Client Disconnects after a minute.
    PSM_Server_Mgr.exe: In Server List, expand GameGroups >> GameGroups01, right-click on Game, click command, enter '/nprotectoff' (without quotes).
    Type '/help' for other commands.

Hey all,

I've been planning on making a return into the world of Shaiya. But.. there's so much negativity in regards to the game's current state. After a quick google search, I stumbled upon a LOT of provate servers claiming to bring back the Shaiya most of us loved but.. which Private Server is the best, or atleast, most popular?

EXP rate doesn't matter, the server needs to be stable and, if possible, not all that bad in terms of business model (not 'pay to win')

The Standalone setup of full is available at the end of this review. It is completely compatible with the 32 Bit as well 64 Bit operating system. One of the top most tool which is being used by the photo designers. Adobe photoshop lightroom softonic er.
